Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that if an ignorant person sees that he has become a scholar or jurist, people will mock and ridicule him. and if a scholar or jurist sees this, it is evidence that his knowledge will increase. if he sees a judge, a wise person, a preacher, or a scholar, alive or dead, passing by a frightening place, it is evidence that the people there will be safe and their king will be just. hazrat ibrahim kirmani (may allah have mercy on him) said that if someone sees that he is teaching people knowledge, but he is not among the knowledgeable, it is evidence that he will flee from them. however, if he is knowledgeable, it is evidence of respect and high status. if he sees that he is teaching by charging something, it is an indication that he will take a bribe. hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that a scholar in a dream is for four reasons: (1) wealth, (2) judge, (3) wise person, (4) preacher.
