Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said if someone sees in a dream that strong winds are blowing, it is an indication that the people of the country will experience fear and dread. and if the wind is seen uprooting and damaging trees, it indicates that the people of that country will face the calamity and difficulty of the plague and scarlet fever. hazrat kirmani, may allah have mercy on him, said that seeing hot winds in a dream is a sign of cold diseases, and seeing mild and cold winds in a dream indicates the arrival of widespread diseases in that country, and mild winds are a sign of health, well-being, and good earn in that country. and if one sees the wind carrying him from one place to another, it indicates that he will undertake a long journey and will earn rank and honor according to the manner of the wind carrying here and there on that journey. and if he sees the wind accompanied by dust and darkness, it is feared that mercy and fear might come upon that nation. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, said if someone sees that strong wind has carried him towards the sky, it indicates that his death is near, and if he sees the wind bringing him down from the sky to the ground, it indicates that he will fall ill but will eventually recover and regain health. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that there are nine interpretations of seeing wind in a dream: first, good news; second, authority; third, wealth; fourth, death; fifth, punishment; sixth, being hit; seventh, illness; eighth, recovery; and ninth, relief. and if a person sees in a dream that he is sitting on the wind, it indicates that he will gain authority and leadership. hazrat ismail ashaath, may allah have mercy on him, said if someone sees in a dream that a gentle westerly wind is blowing, it is a sign that people of the country will receive abundant wealth and blessings. and if the north wind blows gently, it is an indication of healing and relief for the country, but the contrary is not a sign of good. and if in a dream, he hears the sound of the wind, it indicates that news about the king and leader will spread in that country. and if he sees the wind lifting people up in that country, it indicates that they will gain honor and prominence.
