Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that wheat in a dream represents lawful wealth that is obtained through hardships. if one sees that he has eaten wheat, it indicates that he will be pious and devout. if he eats cooked wheat, he will be distressed. if in a dream he sees that his mouth up to his stomach is filled with dry wheat, it indicates that his life has come to an end. hazrat ibrahim karmani, may allah have mercy on him, said if one sees himself eating wheat ears it is an indication that famine and hardship will manifest in that country. the word of the almighty is: {‘seven green ears and others dry.’} (yusuf 12:43). and if one sees himself sowing wheat, it indicates that the almighty will make the grain prices cheap in that country. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that wheat in a dream can refer to three things: (1) being deposed from a position of authority (2) aversion (3) traveling. hazrat ismail ashath, may allah have mercy on him, said if one sees himself eating roasted wheat in a dream, it indicates that he will gain some benefit. and if he sees that he cuts wheat at its proper time, it indicates that he will acquire a lot of wealth with difficulty, and in a dream, a wheat seller is a person who chooses the world over faith.
