Dream interpretation of wash شُستن (دھونا)

Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that seeing oneself washing with the water of a canal, tank, or river in a dream is an indication of relief from grief and sorrow. if a prisoner sees this dream, he will be released from prison. if a debtor sees it, he will be cleared of debt, and if a patient sees it, he will recover. if he does not immerse his whole body in water, the task will not be completed. hazrat ibrahim kermani (may allah have mercy on him) said that if one sees bathing a deceased in a dream, it indicates that his relatives will be freed from grief and sorrow. if one sees washing oneself with salty water, it indicates that he will suffer distress. if one sees washing clean clothes with dirty water, it indicates ruin of his work and corruption of his faith. if one washes oneself with cold or dirty water, it is a sign of repentance. hazrat jaber maghribi (may allah have mercy on him) said that washing hands and face with cold water has four meanings: (1) repentance, (2) well-being, (3) release from captivity, and (4) being safe from fear. washing hands and face with hot water signifies grief and sorrow, and according to hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him), washing hands and face in a dream has eight meanings: (1) fulfillment of desires, (2) recovery from illness, (3) gaining wealth, (4) pilgrimage, (5) happiness, (6) security, (7) purity of religion, and (8) fulfillment of needs.
