Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, has said that seeing vitiligo (baras) in a dream signifies wealth and plenty. if one sees that he has vitiligo on his body in a dream, it is an indication that he will acquire that amount of wealth and blessings. some dream interpreters have stated that vitiligo in a dream indicates inheritance. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that vitiligo in a dream can have four interpretations: first, wealth; second, inheritance; third, benefit; fourth, a sign of professional work appearing. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, has said that if a person sees in a dream that he is in the company of a person with vitiligo, and if that person is virtuous and a reformer, it is an indication that he will gain the benefit of the hereafter. however, if the person with vitiligo is corrupt and miserly, it indicates that the dreamer will gain benefit from unlawful means.
