Dream interpretation of if he sees that he has gone to a river in a dream, it is evidence that he will be trapped in sorrow and grief. hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that if he sees that he has come out from the river, it is evidence that he will come out of sorrow and grief. hazrat ibrahim karmani, may allah have mercy on him, said that a river in a dream signifies hajj (pilgrimage) of islam. the command of allah almighty is: {بِوَادٍ غَیْرِ ذِیْ زَرْعٍ عِنْدَ بَیْتِکَ الْمُحَرَّمِ} (ibrahim 14:37) "in a barren valley near your sacred house." hazrat jaber al-maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, said that a river in a dream is evidence of poetry. the command of allah almighty is: {وَالشُّعَرَآئُ یَتَّبِعُہُمُ الْغَاوٗنَ٭ اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّہُمْ فِیْ کُلِّ وَادٍ یَّہِیْمُوْنَ} (ash-shu'ara 26:224-225) "misguided people follow the poets. do you not see that they wander distractedly in every valley."
