Dream interpretation of to whip زدن (کوڑے لگنا)

Dream interpretation of hazrat danyal (peace be upon him) said that if one sees in a dream that they have been whipped, such that marks of the beatings are visible, or if tied to a pillar, they have been beaten so much that blood oozes, the interpretation is bad. hazrat ibn sirin (peace be upon him) said that if one is whipped in a dream, it is evidence that they will gain unlawful wealth. especially if blood comes out of the body and the body is bloodstained. if bruises appear on the body, it is evidence that one will benefit from everyone accordingly. some interpreters have stated that he will wear new clothes. hazrat ibrahim karmani (peace be upon him) said that if he sees that he is whipped on the back and blood comes out, it is evidence that the dreamer will gain unlawful wealth. if he sees whips on his back and does not know who whipped him, it is evidence that his religion and worldly pursuits will be good. and if he sees that he whipped someone so much that the whip is torn to pieces, it is evidence that his family will be scattered. if he sees that he has been whipped countless times, it is evidence that he will be afflicted with grief. if he sees that someone has whipped him, it is evidence that he will be saddened by a wicked and hypocritical person. and if he sees that the magistrate has whipped him, it is evidence that the king will give him governance, and his work will be good. and if he sees that someone has hit him with a stone, it is evidence that he will benefit from it. if he sees that the stone hits his back, it is evidence that he will be disgraced by someone. if he sees that someone has slapped him on the face, it is evidence that he will hear something bad from someone. hazrat jabir maghribi (peace be upon him) said that if he sees that a dead person has hit him, it is evidence that he will benefit from the journey, or lost wealth will be returned to him. if he sees that he is dead and someone has hit him, it is a sign of spiritual strength. hazrat ja’far sadiq (peace be upon him) said that being beaten in a dream has six causes: (1) benefit (2) dispute (3) clarity of a difficult task (4) journey (5) honor and greatness (6) unlawful wealth.
