(an-nisa 4:95) and if one sees the people of the country going out for jihad, it is a sign of gaining honor and status and subduing others. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, said that if one sees fighting alone against infidels, it is a sign of victory over enemies, gaining lawful sustenance, and a long life. allah almighty says: 'and do not consider those who have been killed in the way of allah as dead; rather, they are alive with their lord, receiving provision, rejoicing in what allah has given them from his bounty.' (al-imran 3:169-170) hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that striving in a dream is for six reasons: (1) goodness and blessing (2) following the sunnah of the prophet, peace be upon him (3) victory over the enemy (4) healing from illness (5) obedience to the king (6) gaining spoils.
