Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that what is new and admirable is an indication of goodness and happiness, and the mention of the old thing has already been discussed under the letter "kaf". lamenting hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that if someone sees in a dream that he is lamenting, it is an indication that the place will not be blessed for him, and the prominent people of that place will be dispersed. and if he sees that the ruler of that city has died and people are lamenting for him, it is an indication that they will receive distress and oppression from that ruler, although some interpreters have mentioned that the ruler will be happy. and if he sees that people are crying with lamentation, it is an indication of injustice and oppression from a tyrant, for which they will be sad and helpless. hazrat ibrahim karmani (may allah have mercy on him) said that if he sees that he is lamenting and making noise, it is an indication that he will suffer grief and loss. and if he sees that he is crying and lamenting quietly, it is an indication of joy and happiness. and if he sees that there are many men with women and they are lamenting loudly, it indicates that due to the king, grief and sorrow will reach that place.
