Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that if a person sees in a dream that he advises a good man about matters that are beneficial for his religion and hereafter, it is a sign of glad tidings, indicating good in both religion and worldly affairs. but if he sees the opposite, it is a sign of corruption and destruction in religion and worldly matters. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, said that advising someone in a dream, which leads to the betterment of their religion, is good, and the advisor is a close angel bringing glad tidings of charity, so that one may offer gratitude. on the other hand, advice that leads to corruption in religion is given by the accursed devil, announcing corruption and destruction, and in such a case, one should repent and turn to allah almighty for protection from evil and corruption and deliverance from the punishment of the almighty.
