Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, has said that seeing one's thigh in a dream is the strength of one's relatives. if he sees that his thigh is broken or has fallen, it is an indication that he will be separated from his family and will become weak and die during travel. and if he sees someone else's thigh is split, the interpretation is the same. hazrat ibrahim karmani, may allah have mercy on him, has said that the right thigh indicates the father's relatives and the left thigh indicates the mother's relatives. if he sees that his thigh has become thin, it indicates that the work of his relatives will be weak. and if he sees that his thigh is severed, it indicates that he will seek separation from his relatives. and if he sees that his thigh is broken, it indicates that he will receive disgrace and dishonor from a chief. and if he sees that the flesh of his thighs has fallen, it indicates that the wealth of his relatives will be wasted. hazrat jaber maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, has said that if he sees that his thighs are tied with a rope, it indicates that he will not be separated from his family and will marry. and if he sees that he has eaten the flesh of his own thigh, it indicates that he will consume the wealth of his relatives to that extent. a story is told that a man presented himself before hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, and asked that he had seen a dream in which there was a hole in his thigh and hair had grown on it. he said to someone to trim his hair. hazrat ibn sirin interpreted that he was in debt and one of his relatives would clear his debt. later that month, one of his relatives came and paid off his debt with two hundred dinars. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, has said that seeing thighs in a dream has four reasons: 1. family members 2. trustworthy friends 3. wealth 4. anger.
