Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that if a person sees in a dream that he sows seeds and then gathers them, it is evidence that he will attain rank and greatness. if he sees that he eats where he sowed, it is a better interpretation than the first. and if he sees that nothing is obtained from what he sowed or he does not know what its fruit is, nor knows little or much of it, it is evidence of grief and sorrow. hazrat ibrahim karmani, may allah have mercy on him, said that if someone sees that he sows wheat, it is a sign that he will receive goodness and virtue. and if he sees that he sows barley, it is evidence that his wealth will increase. and if he sees that he sows millet, it is evidence of little wealth. and if he sees that he sows lentils, beans, and the like, it is evidence of grief and sorrow. hazrat daniyal, may allah have mercy on him, said that if someone sees that he sows seed in his land, it is evidence that he will marry a woman and his work will prosper. and if he cultivates in the land he has sown, it is evidence that he will obtain wealth and bounty. and if he sees that he sows barley or wheat or trees in his land, it is evidence that his respect and rank will increase to the extent that he sowed and it will flourish accordingly. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that sowing seeds in a dream is based on four reasons: first: rank and greatness. second: corruption. third: illicit wealth. fourth: profit in trade.
