Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that if one sees in a dream that he has become a slave, it is an indication that he will be caught up in hard work and will be distressed by it. and if he sees that he has taken or bought a slave, it is an indication that there will be improvement in that work. hazrat ibrahim karmani (may allah have mercy on him) said that in a dream, a slave symbolizes marriage. the decree of almighty allah is: "we gave him good news of a forbearing slave." (as-saffat 37:101) hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that if one sees that he has sold a slave or a bondmaid, it is an indication of improvement. and if one sees that he has bought slaves or bondmaids, it is bad. and if from the sale of a slave or bondmaid he receives gold or silver, it is interpreted negatively, but if he receives other goods, it is better.
