Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah's mercy be upon him, stated that seeing a scorpion in a dream signifies a weak enemy who torments people and treats friends and foes alike. if someone sees that a scorpion has stung them in a dream, it indicates that an enemy will speak ill of them and they will be distressed by it. if they see that they have killed the scorpion, it means they will triumph over the enemy. if they see that after killing the scorpion it comes back to life and tries to harm them, it indicates that they will gain victory over the enemy, but the enemy will confront them again. if they see that they hold the scorpion in their hand, it suggests that they are a troublesome person and will speak ill of others behind their backs and incite discord among people. if they see that they have cooked or roasted a scorpion and eaten it, it signifies that they will consume an enemy's wealth to that extent. if they see that they have shown and eaten the scorpion, it indicates that the enemy resides in their house and socializes with them. if they see that the scorpion is in their clothes, the interpretation is the same. hazrat jabir magribi, may allah's mercy be upon him, stated that if one sees they are afraid of a scorpion and the scorpion has stung them, it signifies that they will suffer from the enemy. some interpreters have stated that they will not be able to have intimacy with their wife. if they see that the scorpion is in their garment, it indicates harm from the enemy. if they see a scorpion in their pants in a dream, it signifies that the enemy will cause trouble in their household or with their servant. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah's mercy be upon him, stated that seeing a scorpion in a dream has three interpretations: (1) enemy (2) envious person (3) fault-finder.
