Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy upon him) stated that in a dream, salt represents hard cash and good deeds. if someone sees in a dream that they have white salt, it signifies that they will receive an equivalent amount of cash money. hazrat ibrahim karmani (may allah have mercy upon him) said that if one sees having eaten salt, it indicates choosing the path of piety and performing good deeds, while dirty black salt is indicative of war and disputes. hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy upon him) said that salt in a dream has five interpretations: (1) cash money (2) honor (3) righteousness (4) plenty of wealth (5) a good servant. and bad salt in a dream has four interpretations: (1) fake currency (2) unpleasant conversations (3) grief and sorrow (4) joy.
