Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that wine is unlawful wealth. if one sees himself surrounded by wine, it indicates that he will fall into mischief, and if he sees himself drinking wine, it means he will acquire unlawful wealth. if he sees himself making and drinking wine, it means he will obtain unlawful wealth through distress and hard work. if he sees his house filled with wine, it indicates he will gain profit from farmers to the same extent. hazrat ibrahim karmani (may allah have mercy on him) said that if one sees himself mixing and drinking wine, it indicates he will mix lawful and unlawful wealth. if he sees himself selling wine, it indicates he will sell forbidden things and earn interest, and there is no goodness in drinking wine. for a ruler, it indicates deposition, and date wine signifies sorrow and grief. hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that in a dream, wine signifies three things: (1) unlawful wealth, (2) marriage, and (3) the blessings of this world. a wine seller in a dream is a person who seeks war and mischief.
