Dream interpretation of the term 'wali' refers to a caretaker and a ruler. if one sees that a wali has fallen from his throne or his throne is broken, or someone has taken his sword, or his house is ruined, or he is caught in a trap and killed, or an animal rides over his head and topples him, or someone makes him fall, all these situations indicate that he will fall from dignity and greatness and will be removed. hazrat ibn sirin, peace be upon him, said if a wali sees that his turban is joined with another's, it signifies that his grandeur and good habit will be enduring. if he sees his feet in a trap, it indicates that the honor and grandeur of the dreamer will increase. hazrat jabar maghribi, peace be upon him, has stated that if one sees that he has become a wali and is just and pious in his duties, and people are pleased with him, it signifies that he will attain goodness and virtue, but if he sees contrary to this, it indicates evil and disorder, especially if the dreamer is corrupt and unchaste.
