Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) has said that the essence of seeing a pond in a dream is knowledge and wisdom. if one sees himself drinking clean and pure water from the pond, it is a sign that he will acquire a share of knowledge to that degree. if he sees himself washing with the pond's water, it indicates that he will have the ability to obey and refrain from disobedience. if he sees himself drinking all the water from the pond, it signifies that he will live his life in safety and his wealth will increase. hazrat ibrahim karmani (may allah have mercy on him) said that if he sees himself washing his clothes by the pond, it is a sign that his family will repent and follow the righteous path. if one sees himself washing clothes in the pond and sees the water rising, it indicates he will not act according to knowledge. if he sees greenery flourishing on the bank of the pond, it means he will benefit from knowledge and others will benefit from his knowledge, especially if the pond belongs to him. if the pond's water increases without any external source, it is a sign that his wealth and knowledge will increase proportionately. hazrat jaber maghribi (may allah have mercy on him) stated that if one sees himself drinking pond water, it indicates he will obtain wealth from a wealthy man and his outcome will be good. hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that a pond seen in a dream has four meanings: first, a beneficial man; second, a wealthy person; third, wealth accumulation; fourth, people will benefit from the knowledge of a scholar.
