Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, has said that a pit on the ground in a dream is wealth that one will acquire through deceit and trickery. if he sees that he is hidden in the pit and cannot come out, it indicates that he will be involved in some work through deception and will find it difficult to escape. the deeper the pit, the harder the work will be. if he sees that the pit is like a thief’s hideout, it indicates that a thief will take something from him. hazrat ibrahim karmani, may allah have mercy on him, has said that if he sees that he has dug a pit or a well, it indicates that he will deceive and trick someone. if he sees water coming out from it, it indicates that he will obtain something through deceit and will live from it. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, has said that if he sees that he has fallen into a pit and cannot come out, it indicates that he will remain in a secretive work and will not find relief. if he sees otherwise, it indicates finding relief.
