Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) has said that seeing paradise in a dream is a sign of happiness and good news from the almighty. the command of allah almighty is {enter in peace, secure} (al-hijr 15:46) 'enter with peace and security.' if one sees that he took fruit from paradise, or someone gave him to eat, it is an indication that he will learn as much knowledge, wisdom, and religious traits as the amount of fruit he ate, but will not benefit from it. if a person sees houris in a dream, it indicates that the time of struggle will be easy for him. if he sees that he is residing in paradise but it is deserted, it indicates that he will incline towards corruption and sin. if he sees in a dream (that paradise) has been closed for him, it indicates that his parents are displeased with him. if he sees that he reached paradise and returned, it indicates that he will suffer from a deathly illness but will recover. if he sees that angels took him by the hand into paradise and he sat under the shade of the tuba tree, it indicates he will attain success in both worlds. the command of allah almighty is: {good news for them and a good return} (ar-ra'd 13:29). if he sees that he was forbidden to drink wine and milk, it is an indication of the ruin of his faith. the command of allah almighty is: {whoever associates partners with allah, allah has forbidden him paradise} (al-ma'idah 5:72). if he sees that someone gave him the fruits of paradise, it indicates that he will have a share from his knowledge. if he sees that he lit a fire in paradise, it indicates that he will eat something unlawful from someone's garden. if he sees that he drank water from the haudh al-kawthar, it indicates he will triumph over his enemy. if he sees that he was granted a palace in paradise, it indicates he will find a comforting beloved or a maid and will marry. hazrat jabir maghribi (may allah have mercy on him) has said that if 'ridwan', the overseer of paradise, is pleased with him, it indicates that he will be joyful and delighted with someone and will enjoy blessings. the command of allah almighty is: {peace be upon you, enter it eternally} (az-zumar 39:73). if he sees that he is in a high and beautiful place that resembles paradise and he knows it is paradise, it indicates he will be in the company of a king, leader, or great scholar. if he sees that he is going towards paradise, it indicates he will remain on the right path. hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) has said that seeing paradise in a dream is of nine types: 1. knowledge. 2. abstinence. 3. benevolence. 4. happiness. 5. good news. 6. safety. 7. goodness and blessings. 8. grace. 9. prosperity. if someone sees in a dream that he is in paradise, it indicates he will achieve the aims of both worlds and will do many good deeds. if a reformer sees it, it indicates he will be afflicted by illness or calamity and will attain the reward of heaven and will be a scholar whose knowledge people will benefit from.
