Dream interpretation of ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that in a dream, paper signifies wealth and greatness. if a person sees that they have white and pure paper, it means they will attain wealth and greatness to that extent. if they see that their paper is soaked in water or burned in fire, it means they will suffer a loss of wealth and greatness to that extent. ibrahim karmani (may allah have mercy on him) said that in a dream, paper signifies knowledge and wisdom. if the dreamer is well-intentioned and learned, and sees that they have many papers, it means they will gain fame in virtue and knowledge. if the dreamer is corrupt and ignorant, the interpretation is contrary. jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that seeing paper in a dream can signify four things: (1) woman (2) greatness (3) wealth (4) deception and trickery.
