Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that if one sees that he has a white pearl necklace, it is an indication that the almighty will grant him knowledge. the brighter the pearls on the necklace, the greater the knowledge and wisdom will be. hazrat ibrahim karmani, may allah have mercy on him, said if one sees that his necklace is made of gold or silver and set with precious pearls, it is an indication that he will gain status and honor and there may be a responsibility entrusted to him. and if his necklace has become long, it indicates that he will fulfill his responsibility, and if he sees that the necklace has become short, it is an indication of betrayal of trust. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, said if he sees that he has adorned his necklace with pearls or wears an adorned necklace, it is a sign of attaining a position and governorship. if his necklace is long, it indicates attaining status, but if it is short, it is contrary to the first interpretation. and if he sees that he has many necklaces, it is an indication that he will be very proficient in knowledge. hazrat ja'far sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that seeing a golden necklace in a dream has six interpretations: (1) pilgrimage (2) governorship (3) dispute and quarrel (4) trust (5) treatment (6) maid. a golden necklace represents pilgrimage, and a silver necklace represents a maid.
