Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah's mercy be upon him, stated that if one sees in a dream that they are eating earth, it is a sign that they speak ill of the deceased. if they see that they eat mud mixed with earth, it indicates that they will spend their wealth on their family. if one sees that they consume soil from the blessed grave of the prophet muhammad (peace be upon him), it signifies that they will undertake the pilgrimage. if one sees that the house is plastered with earth, it is a sign of grief. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah's mercy be upon him, said that seeing white and green earth in a dream is indicative of lawful wealth, while seeing yellow earth signifies illness; seeing red earth is indicative of play and amusement, and seeing black earth suggests sorrow and worry. seeing earth in black water indicates grief and sorrow. if one sees themselves submerged in mud in a dream, it indicates they will engage in great labor without a way out; but if they see themselves coming out of the mud, having cleaned their body and clothes well, it signifies the dreamer will be released from sorrow and worry. hazrat ja'far sadiq, may allah's mercy be upon him, stated that seeing flowers in a warm region is harsher than in a cold one.
