Dream interpretation of hazrat daniyal (may allah bless him) said that if one sees oneself on a high mountain and knows that this mountain belongs to him, it is an indication that a noble person will take him under his protection. and if one sees a mountain being moved from its place, it is an indication that he will subdue a great person. if one sees that he has settled on a mountain, it indicates that he will gain honor and rank from a great person. if one sees that he is climbing a mountain, it indicates that he will receive honor and rank. some interpreters say that if one has difficulty climbing the mountain, it is an indication of sorrow and grief. if one sees that he descends from a mountain, it indicates that his greatness and rank will be reduced. if one sees that he has made a place at the top of a mountain, it is an indication that he will gain honor from the king and become close to him. hazrat ibn sirin (may allah bless him) said that if one sees himself giving the call to prayer (azan) and praying on a mountain, it indicates that his affairs will be conducted with goodness. hazrat jaber maghribi (may allah bless him) said that going up a mountain or a palace in a dream indicates the fulfillment of objectives, and if one sees oneself going down, the interpretation is opposite. if one sees that he fell to the base of a mountain, it is an indication of sorrow. if he sees himself praying at the base of a mountain, it indicates his deeds will be in accordance with religion. if one sees that in the company of the kingly people on the mountain, it indicates that he will receive honor from the king. if a mountain moves and then settles, it indicates that a great man in that place will fall ill and then regain health. if one sees that he dug the mountain easily, it indicates that he will receive swiftly. if one sees a clay mountain, it indicates that he will have greed from a miserly lord. if one sees himself sitting on mount qaf, it indicates the approach of his death. if one sees himself on mount tur, it indicates that the king will trust him and his wish will be fulfilled. if he sees himself on mount arafat, it indicates repentance and regret for sins. if he finds himself on mount lebanon, it indicates he will be in the company of scholars and pious people. if he sees himself on a dark mountain, it indicates a fear of destruction. if one sees himself deviating on a mountain, it indicates his death is near or he will be imprisoned. if he sees himself on a bright mountain, it indicates he will acquire wealth. hazrat ismail ash'ath (may allah bless him) said that if one sees himself on a desolate mountain with scattered stones and difficult movement while shooting arrows, it indicates fear from a tyrant king. if one sees himself walking between two mountains and shooting arrows, it indicates involvement as a mediator between two great people. if there is a hole in the mountain and he enters it, it indicates awareness of the king's secrets and if he brings something out of that hole, it indicates he will receive gifts from the king. hazrat hafiz mubar (may allah bless him) said that if one sees himself climbing a mountain, it indicates involvement in serving a noble person. if one takes stones from several mountains and places them at different places, then puts them back on the mountain, it indicates accumulating wealth through oppression. if one sees himself holding a mountain under his arm, it indicates that the dreamer will serve a great person and gain good and benefit from him. if one sees himself falling down a mountain, it indicates unfulfilled wishes. if one sees a stairway of solid bricks and lime leading to the mountain's peak and he ascends, it indicates rapid fulfillment of his desire. if he observes a stairway made of mud and clay, it has good interpretation. if the stairway is copper, it is bad. if the stairway is of brass, his wish will not be fulfilled. if he sees himself standing at the mountain's peak, it indicates closeness to the king and significant wealth. hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah bless him) said that seeing a mountain in a dream is interpreted in five ways: (1) king, (2) secretary's work, (3) victory, (4) attaining high status, (5) leadership.
