Dream interpretation of if one sees that they have encountered fog, it indicates that they will experience misguidance and deviation in religion to the same extent. if they see that the fog has turned into brightness, it indicates that they will repent. if they see that the fog turns into another fog, it is a sign that they will become hypocritical. hazrat ja'far sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that if a person finds themselves in a dark fog, it signifies grief, sorrow, and hindrances in tasks. if they see that the atmosphere was clear, and suddenly fog appeared, it is an indication that an unexpected death will occur in that land. hazrat ja'far sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, also said that seeing fog in a dream represents four aspects: (1) delay (2) concealment of affairs (3) innovation (bid'ah) (4) misguidance. hazrat ismail ash'ath, may allah have mercy on him, stated that if one sees themselves coming out into the brightness from the fog, it is a sign that they will move from poverty to prosperity and will distance themselves from innovation and misguidance. hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, stated that seeing fog in a dream is not good.
