Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) has stated that seeing lips in a dream is an indication of wishes being fulfilled, and the lower lip is better than the upper lip. some interpreters have said that lips in a dream represent relatives and close relationships. if one sees that the upper lip has disappeared from its place, it means that his wealth will diminish, and the same interpretation is for the lower lip. if one sees someone cutting his lower lip, it indicates that he will divorce his wife, or the woman will harm him. if he sees both lips fallen, it suggests that he will face difficulties from his parents, and it also implies that he will be a talebearer. if he sees pain in his lips, it indicates that he will be sad. if the lips are stuck together in such a way that they cannot open, it means his work will come to a halt. if a woman sees a black mole on her lip, it indicates her honor will increase.
