Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that if someone sees in a dream that he has hit someone and not cut off his head, it is an indication that he will receive goodness and virtue from a wealthy person. some interpreters have stated that the one who hits will be in fear of doing injustice to the deceased. if he sees that someone has hit him, it indicates that his life will be prolonged. hazrat ibrahim karmani, may allah have mercy on him, said that if he sees that someone has hit him, it is a sign of goodness and benefit. if he sees that a group of people have been hit unjustly, it suggests that his life will be prolonged and he will receive goodness and benefit from the king. the command of allah almighty is: {and whoever is killed unjustly, we have given his heir authority, so let him not exceed limits in taking revenge} (al-isra 17:33) "and whoever kills a wronged person, we have given his guardian authority so he should not go to excess in killing." if he sees that he has hit someone unjustly, it indicates that he will be sinful and unjust, and allah will appoint someone to punish him. the command of allah almighty is: {and do not kill your children} (al-isra 17:31) "do not kill your children till the end of the verse." some say that oppressing a son is in all ways an honor in this world, and if he sees that he has hit someone and caused his body to bleed, it indicates that he will gain wealth to that extent. if he sees his body smeared with blood, it indicates that he will give him something from his wealth. if he sees that blood has flowed, it indicates that the hitter's religion will be ruined. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that if he sees that he has hit a beast or an insect of the earth, it is a sign that he will achieve victory over an enemy, and he will conquer the person associated with that animal, and seeing the killer smeared in blood is to see a disloyal and unjust person.
