Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn-e-sirin (may allah have mercy on him) has said that seeing the ka'bah in a dream is akin to seeing the caliph of islam. whatever one sees as increase or decrease in the ka'bah will be reflected in the caliph of islam. if one sees themselves performing tawaf (circumambulation) of the ka'bah, it indicates the righteousness of their faith, and the caliph of islam will find comfort. if someone sees themselves dressed in ihram and facing the ka'bah, it signifies an increase in their righteousness. if someone sees their home becoming the ka'bah, attracting people for visitation, it signifies they will safeguard trust and achieve honor and status. hazrat jabir maghribi (may allah have mercy on him) stated that if a king sees himself visiting the ka'bah, it signifies he will gain favor from the caliph. if he sees the ka'bah falling or burning, it indicates bad times for the caliph. if he takes something from the ka'bah, it means he will benefit from the caliph. if he prays inside the ka'bah, it signifies his work will prosper under the caliphs. hazrat ibrahim karmani (may allah have mercy on him) remarked that the essence of the ka'bah is faith and islam. seeing oneself in the ka'bah signifies protection from enemies' mischief and acceptance of prayers. as allah almighty says: "whoever enters it attains security." (al imran 3:97) if someone is seen kissing the black stone, it indicates they will perform the pilgrimage (hajj). visiting the prophet’s (pbuh) grave or seeing the station of ibrahim signifies they will perform hajj and return safely. seeing oneself on the roof of the ka'bah suggests turning toward a heretical sect. hazrat ja'far sadiq (may allah be pleased with him) has said the dream of the ka'bah has four interpretations: (1) caliph (2) leader (3) faith and islam (4) absolute security from all fears.
