Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that if a person sees in a dream that he is ill, it indicates that there is corruption in his religion and he will speak hypocritically with people. some interpreters have stated that he will die within the same year. if he sees that he has recovered from illness and is not at home and does not speak to anyone, it means his illness will be prolonged, and he will die from the same danger. if he sees himself among people and speaking, it means he will quickly gain health and wellness from illness. hazrat ibrahim karmani (may allah have mercy on him) said that if a person sees himself naked due to illness in a dream, it indicates that he will die soon. the interpreters have stated that illness in a dream is a sign of immorality, and misery and sorrow will come from the sultan or his family. hazrat jabir maghribi (may allah have mercy on him) said various diseases in a dream indicate his duties and sunnahs are irregular. hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that if a person sees in a dream that he is ill and crying due to illness, it indicates he will be safe from grief, and if he is patient, pleased, and grateful with the illness, its interpretation is good and health. if he sees himself ill and naked, it indicates his death is near. the almighty's command is: {you have returned to us alone as we created you for the first time} (al-anam 6:94).
