Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that if a person sees in a dream that he is idol worshipping, it indicates that he will lie against allah almighty and follow a false path. if he is worshiping a wooden idol, it is a sign of hypocrisy in religion. if he sees that the idol is of silver, he will indulge in carnal desires with a covetous woman. if he sees that the idol is of gold, it indicates an inclination towards reprehensible deeds and wealth accumulation. if he sees the idol is of iron, copper, or brass, it signifies worldly pursuits over religious intentions. hazrat ibrahim kermani (may allah have mercy on him) said that if someone sees a jewel idol in a dream, it means his intention from religion is power and servitude. if he sees the jewel idol is gone, it indicates an intention to accumulate unlawful wealth from religion. if he sees the idol at home, he will be helpless and bewildered due to his own intellect and wisdom. hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that dreaming of an idol has three aspects: first, futile lies; second, deceitful hypocrite; third, a deceitful corrupt woman.
