Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that if one sees himself arguing with someone and overcoming them, it signifies that ultimately he will prevail and achieve victory over his enemy. but if one sees his enemy overcoming him, the interpretation is the opposite of the first. hazrat ibrahim kirmani, may allah have mercy on him, said that if one sees himself arguing with the ruler of the land and overcoming him, it is evidence that he will receive goodness and benefit from the ruler. but if he sees the opposite, he will see displeasure from the ruler. and if one sees himself going to argue in front of the king, it indicates that his desires will be fulfilled. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, said that if one sees himself arguing with someone without reason, it signifies that people will be displeased with him because he desires to trouble them.
