Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, has said that greenery in dreams signifies religion, especially if seen in its proper time. if someone sees in a dream that they have land and it has abundant greenery, it indicates righteousness and pure faith. if they see unknown grass on this land, not recognizing it, and look at it with wonder, knowing that the land belongs to them, this signifies the dreamer’s religion and integrity. if known grass is seen on the land, it indicates wealth and abundant blessings. hazrat jaber maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, stated that greenery in a dream, if timely, indicates asceticism and piety. hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, also said that a green field in a dream is good, and seeing oneself residing in it signifies steadfastness in religion. if a deceased is seen residing in a green field, it indicates their good end and reward in the hereafter. hazrat ibrahim kermani, may allah have mercy on him, said if one sees a clean and lush green field and knows it is their property, it signifies pure religion, piety, and integrity. if the field is seen yellow and withered, its interpretation is contrary to the first. if one sees themselves in a green field belonging to others, it indicates companionship with pious and trustworthy people. if seen otherwise, it signifies association with bad people. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that seeing greenery in a dream is due to four reasons: (1) path to safety (2) religion (3) pure belief (4) piety.
