Dream interpretation of and if someone sees people carrying a funeral procession in a dream, it indicates that the dreamer will rule over such people but will oppress them. and if one sees that he himself has died and his funeral is being taken away, and people are walking behind the funeral, it indicates that he will gain honor and greatness but his religion will be corrupted, and he will rule over that nation. and if he sees that he is carrying the dead person's funeral, it denotes that he will serve the king and will see goodness and virtue from him. and if he sees people walking behind his funeral and is in the air, it foretells that a prominent person of that city will die during a journey. and if he sees his own funeral going on the ground, it indicates that he will travel. hazrat ibrahim kermani (may allah have mercy on him) said that if he sees the funeral of a living person being taken and there is no one behind it, it signifies damage to his honor, rank, and work. and if he sees people were behind his funeral, it contradicts the first interpretation. if he sees that his funeral was heavy, it means he will oppress people. and if he sees his funeral is light, it suggests he will have mercy on people and will be righteous. and if he sees he has fallen from the funeral or those carrying it dropped him, it signifies he will fall from honor and rank, and his work will halt. hazrat ja'far sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that the funeral in a dream has three reasons: first: greatness. second: authority. third: honor, rank, and elevation.
