Dream interpretation of imam ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that dreaming of a flower has two interpretations: one is the flower on the tree and the other is without the tree, and for which there is no leaf. seeing such a flower is evidence of the dreamer's grief and sorrow, and if one sees a red flower on the tree in its season, it is evidence that one will have a child, and if seen out of season, one will suffer distress because of the child. in a dream, a flower tree is a leader and a talker, and a tree with yellow flowers represents a businesswoman fulfilling needs, and a tree with white flowers is a sign of honor, status, and wealth. if one sees a flower tree in their house, it indicates that they will marry someone’s daughter. if one sees roses in their house, it indicates happiness due to their child. if they see various flowers blooming, it indicates happiness with relatives and family members. if the root of a flower tree is seen growing from the ground, it indicates laziness among the household. imam jaber maghribi (may allah have mercy on him) said that dreaming of a flower represents an unmotivated and unfaithful person. if one gives or drops a flower, it indicates distancing from such an unfaithful person. imam ismail ash’ath (may allah have mercy on him) said that dreaming of a flower is a letter received from an absent person or the absent person himself will come. imam jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that seeing a flower in a dream has six interpretations: (1) child (2) friend (3) unmotivated person (4) maid (5) slave (6) letter from an absent person.
