Dream interpretation of ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, states that if someone sees in a dream that they have found something, if the dreamer is pious and righteous, it signifies that they will find something in their waking life. however, if the person is not righteous and modest, it signifies that they will encounter some sorrow and grief. hazrat kirmani, may allah have mercy on him, says that if someone sees in a dream that they have found two things, and both are of the same kind and category, it signifies good and benefit, and the person will perform hajj or umrah. if someone sees that they have found ten things, and all ten are of the same kind and category, it signifies some good and benefit and the earning of lawful sustenance; the interpretation of other numbers and counts follows the same conjecture. however, if the things found are not of the same kind and category, the interpretation will be negative.
