Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that eating fig in a dream, whether in season or out of season, is bad. if one sees that he has eaten, collected, or been given fig, it indicates that he will experience sorrow and grief and may do something which will cause regret. hazrat kirmani (may allah have mercy on him) stated that seeing and eating yellow fig in a dream is a sign of illness, black fig indicates sorrow and grief, while eating green fig which is sweet in its proper season does not cause harm.
