Dream interpretation of fetters (iron shackles) غل (لوہے کا طوق)

Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, has stated that a yoke in a dream signifies disbelief and an inclination towards what is unjust. if one sees that there is a yoke around his neck, it is evidence that he will die as a disbeliever. and if he sees that his yoke is tied around a dog's neck, it is evidence that he will be a hypocrite. and if he sees a yoke on his neck and shackles on his feet, it is evidence that he will be a disbeliever but will falsely claim to be a muslim. hazrat ibrahim karmani, may allah have mercy on him, has stated that if one sees shackles on his hands, it is evidence of his miserliness, as allah almighty has said: {the jews say, 'allah's hand is tied up.' may their hands be tied up and cursed for what they said.} (al-maida 5:64). the yoke is intended to signify miserliness. hazrat ibn abbas, may allah be pleased with them, has stated that interpreters say if a righteous person sees a yoke around his neck, it is evidence that he will abstain from wrongdoing.
