Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that in dreams, all types of sour water are indications of sorrow and distress. and if one sees in a dream that he has drunk sour water, it is a sign that he will suffer as much grief and sorrow. and if he has given sour water to someone and they drink it, it is a sign that the person will be upset with him and his grief and sorrow will be less. hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that drinking sour water in a dream is on three accounts: (1) sorrow and grief (2) loss (3) dispute and conversation.
