Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that if someone sees in a dream that he has caught a hawk or someone has given it to him and the hawk is obedient, meaning it sits on the hand, then this is a sign of honor, rank, and prestige. and if one sees a white hawk sitting on his hand, it is a sign that he will gain respect and status from the king. and if one sees that the hawk fell from his hand and died, it indicates that he will fall from status and become destitute. hazrat ibrahim kirmāni, may allah have mercy on him, said that if one finds a white hawk in a dream, if he is among the king’s employees, he will gain jurisdiction and honor from the king. if he is among the subjects, he will receive a substantial wealth. and if he sees that someone has given him a hawk, it indicates that his son will be dignified, handsome and beautiful. and if he sees a hawk sitting on the roof, it indicates that he will have an audience with a new king and will gain goodness and benefit. if he sees the hawk running and hiding under a woman’s skirt, it indicates that his wife will give birth to a beautiful boy. and if he sees a gold or silver chain on the hawk’s feet, it indicates that his wife will give birth to a girl. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, said that if someone sees in a dream that he has found and killed a hawk, it indicates that if this person is among the people of the kingdom, he will be dismissed from his work. if he is not among them, he will receive distress and grief from the family. and if he sees that the hawk flew away from his hand and did not return, if the king sees this dream, it is an indication that his kingdom will slip away from him. and if the hawk returned and sat on his hand, it indicates that he will gain the kingdom and power. hazrat ja’far sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that if one sees in a dream that the hawk is obedient to him, the interpretation is in five ways. first: obedience. second: happiness. third: glad tidings. fourth: command. fifth: achieving one’s desire and wealth in accordance with the value of the hawk obtained. especially if the hawk is white and obedient, two thousand dirhams will be received. and if it is not obedient, the interpretation is in four ways. first: an unjust king. second: a ruler who inclines towards evil. third: a treacherous jurist. fourth: a child who is disobedient to their parents.
