Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that in a dream, a woman with a pitcher is a servant or maid who is tasked with lighting the lamp. some interpreters say the pitcher is a strong servant whom people obey and avoid sin. if one sees that he has a new pitcher, or someone has given it to him, it means he will acquire a servant or maid with the previously mentioned qualities. if one sees the pitcher breaking, it signifies that the servant or maid will fall ill or die. and if the pitcher is lost, it indicates that the servant or maid will run away or be separated from him. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said seeing a pitcher in a dream may have nine interpretations: first: woman. second: servant. third: maid. fourth: authority. fifth: body. sixth: long life. seventh: wealth and blessings. eighth: goodness and blessing. ninth: comfort from women.
