Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that running in a dream signifies liberation. if someone sees in a dream that they are running away from an enemy or a biting animal, it means they will be safe from evil and fear, and will gain victory over the enemy. this is because hazrat musa (moses) u saw in a dream that he was fleeing from the accursed pharaoh. later, he was saved from pharaoh's malice and eventually triumphed over him. hazrat ibrahim karmani, may allah have mercy on him, said that if one sees themselves hiding and running from an enemy, and the enemy sees them, it indicates they will be distressed. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, stated that if one sees people running, it means they will be accused by a prominent person. allah almighty says in the quran: {on the day when you will see it, every nursing mother will forget her nursing infant.} (al-haj 22:2). and if one sees men running away from women; if the women are virtuous and righteous, it indicates evil, but if they are corrupt, it symbolizes goodness. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that running in a dream represents marriage, provided the place is accompanied by sounds of sorrow and calamity.
