Dream interpretation of hazrat daniyal (may allah have mercy on him) said that if someone sees in a dream that they have died and people are crying or lamenting over them, or they are wrapped in a shroud and placed in a grave, it indicates the corruption of their faith. however, if they see themselves being taken out of the grave, it signifies the opposite. if they see that they are buried with soil poured over them and people leave, it is a sign that their faith will never be reformed. some say, if they see that they have died and are hurriedly placed on a bier, and people are carrying it, and many people follow the funeral, it indicates they will gain honor, greatness, and authority but will be oppressive. if they see themselves dead and then alive, it signifies repentance from sin, and some say their life will be long. if someone tells them they will never die, it indicates martyrdom in jihad. if they see themselves dead with no one mourning or following their funeral, it indicates their house will remain desolate. if they see themselves among the dead with the perception that they have been dead for a long time, it indicates they will travel with ignorant people.
