Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that if someone sees a curtain in a dream hanging at their door, if the curtain is tight and very thick, it signifies distress and sorrow, causing fear and dread, but ultimately leads to safety. if one sees in a dream a curtain hanging at the gate of a hostel, the door of a mosque, or in a marketplace, it is a sign of great distress and immense danger. hazrat ibrahim kirmani (may allah have mercy on him) said that if someone sees in a dream that the curtain is destroyed, the dreamer will find happiness instead of distress and will be safe from fear and dread. and if they see a curtain that is unknown, it will lead to extreme distress, but if it is known, it will be less difficult. hazrat jaber maghribi (may allah have mercy on him) said that seeing a new curtain is good for the king and bad for the subject, and seeing an old curtain is not good in any situation.
