Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that if one sees themselves sitting in a swing and they are deserving, it signifies comfort, ease, and happiness, and they will remain safe from fear and terror. however, if one sees themselves falling from the swing, the interpretation is contrary to the initial one. hazrat ibrahim karmani (may allah have mercy on him) said that seeing oneself in a swing is an indication that they will marry a kind woman or buy a beautiful maidservant. some interpreters have also stated that a swing in a dream symbolizes a place of rest, honor, and status, particularly for those deserving of it; otherwise, it indicates imprisonment and confinement. hazrat ja'far sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that a swing in a dream signifies eight things: (1) ease and comfort, (2) joy, (3) honor, (4) wealth, (5) status, (6) safety, (7) kind maidservant, (8) woman. for the poor, seeing a swing indicates four things: (1) prison, (2) confinement, (3) sorrow and grief, (4) hardship and labor.
