Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah's mercy be upon him, has stated that if someone sees in a dream that they have built a mosque, school, or monastery in a desolate place, it is an indication of religious reform and reward in the hereafter. and if one sees that they have gone to a desolate place and built a building for themselves, such as an inn or a shop, it indicates that they will gain worldly benefits. and if one sees that a known place has become desolate, it indicates that they will be caught in a calamity or disaster. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah's mercy be upon him, has stated that if one sees that they have settled in a famous and known place, it indicates that they will obtain goodness, reformation, and benefit from that place according to its habitation and construction. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah's mercy be upon him, has stated that seeing a building in a dream is based on four reasons: improvement of worldly affairs, goodness and benefit, attainment of desires, and the facilitation and blessings of pending tasks.
