Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that in a dream, a robber is a quarrelsome person with people. if he sees that the robber has taken his wealth, it is an indication that he will meet a person who will honor and respect him, and he will benefit as much as the robber has taken. and if he sees that robbers have gathered on him and could not seize anything from him, it is a sign that if he is ill, he will recover. hazrat ibrahim kirmani, may allah have mercy on him, said that if he sees that robbers have taken something from him, it is a sign that the robber will lie to him. and if he sees that the highwayman has taken his cap, it is a sign that he will be caught in trouble. hazrat jabir maghribi, may allah have mercy on him, said that if he sees that he has committed a robbery and has seized goods, it is a sign that the person will be angry with him. and if he sees that he himself has robbed and taken someone's goods, it is a sign that the person will fall ill and recover. hazrat jafar sadiq, may allah have mercy on him, said that robbery in a dream is based on three reasons: (1) war (2) constant dispute and lying (3) destruction of pleasure and illness.
