Dream interpretation of hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that in a dream, ash is a false wealth that comes from the king and does not stay with anyone. the interpreters have stated that one will acquire such knowledge in which there will be no goodness or benefit. hazrat ibn sirin, may allah have mercy on him, said that ashes in a dream have nine interpretations: first: unacceptable knowledge. second: illegitimate wealth. third: useless work. fourth: quarrel. fifth: immorality. sixth: deceit and trickery. seventh: regret and remorse. eighth: repentance. ninth: an endeavor without improvement. the almighty says: {the parable of those who disbelieve in their lord is that their deeds are like ashes upon which the wind blows forcefully on a stormy day.} (ibrahim 14:18)
