Dream interpretation of hazrat muhammad bin sirin (may allah have mercy on him) said that if a person sees that he is sitting on the top of a mountain, or a rooftop, or a hill, or a palace, or something similar, it is an indication that he will find what he is seeking, and his wish will be fulfilled. some interpreters say that if he sees himself going up with difficulty, it means that he will find what he is seeking with trouble and difficulty. if he sees himself climbing a ladder, it is an indication that he will gain respect and status in religion, especially if the ladder is made of clay. if he sees that the ladder is made of lime and stone, it indicates that there will be a disturbance in his religion. hazrat ibrahim kermani (may allah have mercy on him) said that climbing a ladder made of lime and stone indicates that he will gain honor and respect in this world. if he sees a ladder made of raw bricks and clay, it is an indication that he will gain esteem and value in the hereafter. if he sees himself going to the sky and returning, it is an indication that he will become severely ill but will eventually recover. hazrat jafar sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) said that going up in a dream can be interpreted in five ways: first, the fulfillment of a need; second, desiring a woman; third, closeness and greatness; fourth, obtaining what is sought; fifth, the progress of business.
