Dream interpretation of according to hazrat ibn sirin (may allah have mercy on him), seeing an ankle in a dream indicates a position. if one sees playing with an ankle, it signifies war and conflict. if one sees having many ankles, it indicates that one will bear much grief and sorrow. if one sees that their ankle is broken, it implies that their child will die or they will experience grief. the interpretation of ankles includes fighting, deceit, and trickery. hazrat jabir al-maghribi (may allah have mercy on him) said that playing with ankles signifies a despicable and lowly enemy and conflict. hazrat jafar al-sadiq (may allah have mercy on him) stated that an ankle in a dream has five meanings: (1) position, (2) woman, (3) child, (4) wealth, (5) conversation. the word of almighty allah says: 'and full-breasted companions and a cup full' (quran 78:33-34). if one sees the ankle of a permissible meat animal in their presence, it signifies lawful wealth. conversely, if they see otherwise, it indicates unlawful wealth.
